Hi peeps,
This feels a bit shady as I’ve really memberized to plumb some knowledge.
I’ve never really been into French cars, or anything French for that matter, apart from the odd French letter and some French fries.
Swmbo, on the other hand, has this 2010 Peugeot Bipper Tepee, that she loves.
Being disabled she has an automatic licence, so this ‘Vanette’ has an Ecg type gearbox which I need some help with
Anyway, thanks for letting me in, I'll put my questions down in the lower levels, if anybody feels like reading them.
I've been looking for an interesting forum for some time and this forum has a good feeling.

Hi and welcome - that's an intro and a half
Well your reputation is safe as there's really nothing too French about the Peugeot Bipper - this and it'c Citroen namesake 'Nemo' is basically a Fiat Fiorino and was jointly
developed with Fiat. See my post here:

As a consequence they usually require a special adaptor module for the native PSA Lexia diagnostic tool in order to read all the ECUs. These Carlos Fandango gearboxes (the semi-automatics) can be a nightmare, so be prepared to find somebody who is familiar with them, as they also need someone who knows their way around them diagnostically for certain operations.

Re: Hi from 'Sunny' Perranporth
Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
That's an interesting read Marc, thanks for that. So, basically it's a Turkish Fiat who allowed the French to design a bonnet badge. I wondered why the modules had Fiat written on them!
Italy, almost bankrupt, with 25% unemployment, found it better to make sure the Turks got jobs. Makes sense
