Hi guys
,Just recently purchased an 07 C2 VTS 1.6 HDI. Has 133k miles on the clock with timing belt done at 105 and clutch and flywheel replaced just over 10k ago. Got it for £900 which I think was a good deal.
So far I'm really happy as it's quickish and very economical.
It's black with dark grey cheetahs which look amazing on it!!
I live in the UK and apparently there are only around 500 in the country which is pretty cool and it doesn't make finding parts hard as most are used in other Citroens or Peugeots.
Anyway I have a question or two.
The rear wiper isn't working, if the front wipers work as normal would this rule out a blown fuse? I am not too bothered about it but think this could an issue at MOT as I've heard if a vehicle has it, it needs to work. It did pass it's MOT a couple of weeks before i bought it but have heard MOTs are getting more ridiculous.
Also noticed it has a GARRETT turbo, are these the standard turbo fitted to this model? ( Nothing in history)
My rear fog light has blown since I purchased it, does anyone know if its in the drivers or passengers side cluster?
Also I would like to service the car myself, I'm pretty handy at most things DIY but have never really worked on cars. I have found YouTube tutorials on everything I am looking to do so do you guys think this would this be advisable or should I leave it to a trained mechanic?
Any advice is very welcome.
