Replacement passengers side wing mirror

Hi there,

Some little school **** has whacked my passengers side wing mirror off whilst it was parked. The entire shell has gone and the mirror is in about 7 pieces, they also ripped the wiring out.

My Reg number is:
Vin Number: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

I believe its the correct one but feel free to correct me.

How hard is it to fit or will I have to get a garage to replace it?

There are several variations - depends on trim level.

Your passenger mirror is part number: 8153VS (item 1 below), but as you can see there are parts that can be purchased individually depending on the damage.

I wouldn't bother with that link - they don't even list a diesel fuel type - no confidence at all.

Alkar also make these - but their part numbers don't always match up - so you need to make sure it has the same functionality.

I'll take a picture in the morning and show you the damage. Effectively it's the surround, mirror and wiring that's all been damaged.

Can you recheck the part number for me please? I am in the UK and the passengers side is on the left (when in the car) the part you posted is for the drivers side (right side) thanks:)

Quite a lot of used ones on Ebay starting at £30ish and on up to huge prices.

That's because of the basic functionality versus the ones with cameras, puddle lights, heated, convex, memory position, folding options etc.....

Hi Adam - the confusion seems to be with PSA and their description - which I went on rather than the graphic - as you can see:- At the top right of the first diagram is says "Passenger" - but looking at the second diagram that says "Driver" - you can see they also actually state left and right versions too!

So you may need to confirm with the dealer what the hell is what as it won't be the first time there has been an error.
