I used to have a Renault 20TS. 'twas a lovely car. Starter motor eventually went and that, along with rough running, meant I got rid of it :(

Well done Bobins!!! Was that with a touch screen or at least a screen that displays the whole field without scrolling or are you just brilliant on a laptop? :-D

I havn't played any sort of game since I qualified as a microsoft flight sim pilot about 18 years ago so practised I am not! :-D I had a go with my touchpad on the laptop and 12 was the best I managed. I also had 4 11's and 7 or 8 10's so it wasn't for lack of trying but I just couldn't see the top and new lines at the bottom at the same time so got fed up with it!! :-D :-D Having said that I did have a bottle of Merlot beside me when I started and now I have a Merlot bottle so it may have a bearing on my efforts!! :-D Nevertheless you are definitely the 20's champ Bobins unless someone else knows different? :)

For those that don't play crib, you get 2 points for each different combination of cards that addup to 15. Two points for each different pair you can make and 1 point for each card in each different run of 3 csrds or more you can make. So this hand has 3 different 15s, one with each six scoring 6, three runs of 3 with each different six scoring 9 and 3 different pairs of 6's scoring 6. So the total 6+6+9=21!! :)

The D21 was derived from the SR71, and was designed to be used as a drone launched from a converted SR71 (renamed to M12, M for Mother, D for daughter). The third test flight was lethal; as the D21 was released it suffered from an inlet unstart (when the spike moved to the wrong position and over-aired the engine) which caused it to crash back into the M12. This caused the nose of the M12 to pitch up at too steep an angle, which (at the speeds they were travelling at; Mach 3+) tore the aeroplane apart. Although both the crew ejected (this was over the Pacific Ocean) one was trapped under his parachute and drowned.

I refer to my poser placed on the Pickled Egg Jukebox relating to the Troggs and their "underground" film to accompany "Wild Thing".

https://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/ ... 68#p629968

I have extracted this table from Wikipedia of the Cities which have undergrounds/metros/subways in order of their construction, and discover a bizarre coincidence....
