I do like a trucking song as evidenced by the Pickled Egg Playlist 10 trucking songs......worth putting on something to play on a car journey like Micks March Meander!

Theres even an 18 wheels song on it :-D

Be honest, without the advantage of the FCF 2019 Advent Calendar how many guesses would it take before you got the answer to........

What is the 3rd most abundant gas in the earth's atmosphere :?:
Spoiler: show

I imagine with the advent of those phone things, the Uk will be slowly losing the ability to play cribbage. Have to admit it.....never played it.

How did you get on with the 3rd most abundant gas in the earth's atmosphere, I was surprised. More abundant than CO2 or Water Vapour (yes probably not a true gas)

and speaking of gases reminds me of a "incident" at the Pickled Egg
The Pickled Egg played host to a "stag" party of 6 local geeks, and I have to say our Bar staff handled the situation in their usual diplomatic fashion, and deserve a great deal of credit.

In trooped the geeks with their stag party T-Shirts on, Helium, followed by his mates Argon, Xenon, Neon, Radon, and Krypton bringing up the rear.

Could have developed into a nasty situation, so the Barman pointed out Pickled Egg policy, politely but firmly.

"I'm sorry we don't serve noble gases in here"

Luckily there was no reaction.

I went for CO2 or CO and was wrong on both counts!! Quite surprised at that result because you never consider the inerts when thinking about gasses!!
Does make me wonder if it has always been that way or if it is another result of climate change and loss of biomass!! :)
As for the P.E. stag party which appeared while I was typing, was it the same barman who refused to serve the docked labrador's ghost because he couldn't retail spirits?

For those cribbage players among us it is impossible to score 19 in one hand (according to Wikipedia)!

19 seems to offer challenges in various fields so my collection today is somewhat tongue in cheek: :-D

As crib players will know, there are many 19 hands to choose from, so this is just one example:
Own work
Own work
The choices of plane for the flying picture were also fairly easy to find so I chose a real one, the X19,
Pinched from the web
Pinched from the web
and a little cheeky one for you to ponder!
Own work
Own work
Fortunately I can redeem myself with a bona fide song:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Ah with such detailed cribbage knowledge James, I suspect you will be joining Mick as the only ones who know how to play cribbage on the FCF :-D . If you do happen to meet up on Micks Motoring Meander I would hope the FCF could be rewarded with an active shot of cribbage being played and the matchsticks being moved on the scoreboard!
