Hi all.
Just bought a 16 month old ds7 and it’s back in for repairs and recall after 2 weeks.
1 remorte key doesn’t work at all.
Warning spanner on dash light up saying check side lights and indicators but they all work.
Sat nav not connected to give traffic updates etc.
Keyless entry not working.
Thinking I’ve bought a real bum.
My question though.
The upper boot floor was available as an option when new but I can’t find anyone selling them as accessory. Are they available?
Have I bought a bum?

Sounds typical of a very low/failing battery to me.
When disconnecting a battery you MUST follow the correct procedure on removal and refitting.

Hopefully your right and the dealer can sort this. I haven’t disconnected the battery but the former owner could have. It’s been at the dealer since Monday so they’ve had 2 full days on it so far.
Any ideas on the upper boot floor option?

You can buy the bits for the rear floor by the looks of it....
But you'd need item 2, 2x3 and 2x4, which totals
perhaps not then..... you might be able to get the bits from a scrapper.

Re: Have I bought a bum?
unless you have connected the map to ds, live traffic updates don't work, you get first 3 years free i think
Re: Have I bought a bum?
How do I connect map to the ds.
I’ve just been stitched up by the dealer that sold it to me. I’ve had it a month now and after a week in a ds dealers the live updates still aren’t working. It was sold to me with heated seats and keyless entry and full service history and paperwork.
It hasn’t got any of them, not even a handbook or service book.
Legally I have 30 days to return it but the dealer is disputing everything telling me to get a solicitor involved.

Re: Have I bought a bum?
I'm reminded of the time I got un-cooked Chicken in a Chinese Meal. The Take-Away was stroppy about refunding me so I stood just outside telling and showing everyone the quality of their food.
A Solicitor might not be feasible, but ensuring some bad publicity, while sticking to the truth so that you're not slandering them, could well be. Could you park it outside with a suitable notice in the window suggesting any prospective customers contact you before buying?

Re: Have I bought a bum?
Was it a DS Salon, a Citroen dealer or just ano garage?
Re: Have I bought a bum?
It was very well known and advertised main dealer but not a ds main dealer.
I’m now in contact with there head office to try and sort this.
