Looking up that song I came across this version of a monologue I remember from my student days but it still brought a smile to my face as I visualised the lyrics: :-D

This was the original monologue I heard as a student: :-D

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Having been transported to the weekend of wind themed tracks by Neil's link in "Notices.......", I was surprised to find that the track which came straight into my mind when I read the word "wind" wasn't included. So, cringeworthy though it may be, I think it should be added posthumously: :-D

As mentioned in POD, synth stuff -

The Carlos album seems to be denied the YouTube Community but this is similar.

But quite poor in comparison to how it was envisaged.

But back to Tripods. Did anyone see the BBC's abomination that was "The War Of The Worlds"?
What a lashup :(

From that to this:

It looks religious but like so many other things is pagan and adopted by the church.
The obvious reason is celebrating St Lucia (Italian) (Sankta Lucia) [url-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Lucy]Wiki[/url]
The underlying truth is that it is the recognition of the winter solstice and the 'return of the light'.
Hence the candles.
The saxophone is a unusual and very fine addition to the music.

The girls at work always performed this, mainly as a pisstake and excuse to consume as much glögg as possible, not much work being done that day.

Mainly for Neil, if interested, there is a performance in Hexham on the 12th, no idea why as it is traditionally held on the 13th - I suppose Friday the 13th may be considered risky with all those candles around.
Free for the Luciatåg and refreshments after for not much money.

I would go but last time I was in a church was a disaster. There may be an open air one in town but not announced yet, even that out of bounds though, smokers :(

One may think that I am religious but nothing could be further from the truth, just like some of the traditions (NOT Christmas)! and sacred music.

Nor do I but have often wanted to experience "The Messiah" in a cathedral.

I do like flashmobs though :)
Although that was always traditionally Easter music.

That one was posted on YT a few years back
