Yes getting warmer, not that obscure, front seats to help you out (though I've masked the wheel badge
):

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
The evidence
But which one....
Might be your toyota camry then Mick!

....cant be its blue and it has 4 doorsThen came my all time favourite Toyota Celica Convertible in white which I owned for 19 years and was fitted with aircon button but no aircon installed!!!
Rule out the Celicia's and its probably one of the othersI think you are in danger of tarring all the Toyotas with one brush there!! I have had 3 Celicas, a Corolla, a Carina, a Camry and a Prius and never seen an inch of brown plastic!!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
The colour's close!! I think you have got close enough so I'll put you out of your frustration:
.
Mazda 6 TS2, fabulous car, comfort, performance, space and reasonably good looking. Shame the inner sills gave up
and I had to replace it with the current C5.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Thanks Mick never considered MAzda at all although briefly you have mentioned it
Thought I had hit the right seam with the Toyotas so didnt look further...mickthemaverick wrote: 01 Aug 2019, 22:13 One further car I would suggest is worth considering is the Mazda 6 Estate. Ticks all your boxes and a fair few around at sensible money. I had a saloon for 6 months and only gave it up when my current C5 came up.![]()

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Excellent researching there Neil, as you say you didn't quite go far enough!
For future reference the Celicas were 1 white and 2 red, the corolla was white, the carina was gold japanese spec, the camry was burgundy and the prius silver. I also had a red MR2 which I missed out in that quote!!

You like your Toyotas then Mick!
How about this one sitting on my neighbours drive. It belongs to her grandson, he's spent thousands on it over the last few years but it's sat there unused for at least a year now, he's fully occupied with work commitments.
The front is only off because he caught it no the kerb and it's been repaired but not refitted.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Quite sad to see the car in that condition as I would have thought the GT4's are now becoming sought after. I did get a drive of one at a track day and it handled very well but I definitely prefer the earlier body styles, my hook being the pop up headlamps. That is also the reason I had the MR2 and the two Mazda 323F's, I just love the smooth daytime lines!!

There's a lot of fakery on the yellow one, all the body kit is add-ons since he first got it.
My body man sorted out the scruffy body and re-sprayed it for him, at huge cost.

I'm not sure what it is Mick me not being a Toyota enthusiast. I know it's tuned up to the hilt with all the turbo power of a moon rocket.
