I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Re: Favourite colours for cars
There could be a few on here who might just fancy a Citroen SM.
Fair enough have a vitrual one here, but what "factory" colour are you going to choose...
http://citroensmpassion.free.fr/ch6/couleurs.htm
Van spotted a 2-tone recently.....maybe a special order, or maybe the factory churned out a few. Haven't found a pic on the net yet of a two-tone SM but you can have 100 points if you come up with the goods.
Regards Neil

Re: Favourite colours for cars
That car was originally owned by a certain ex-bank manager Allan Hewitt, founding treasurer of the P6 Rover Owners Club.
I was driven in it by Allan many times, from Surrey to club committee meetings in Warwickshire.
It was always near-immaculate, and a regular winner or runner-up in club concours.
Used as an everyday, the r.m. comes as a bit of a surprise.
I remember we did sort the headlights, though, replacing Rover's original Lucas sealed beams —

Re: Favourite colours for cars
Well the results are out. The UK has once again showed its preference for Grey.
Grey rules the roost as UK’s favourite car colour in 2019
SMMT figures show the hue keeps its number one spot from 2018, adorning more than one in five new cars
1. Grey - 521,273 new registrations
2. Black - 466,756
3. White - 414,403
4. Blue - 373,728
5. Red - 226,501
6. Silver - 201,008
7. Orange - 25,723
8. Green - 16,718
9. Bronze - 6595
10. Yellow - 6566

There are some quite nice shades of grey now, didn't used to like it much - but I am colour blind!

Re: Favourite colours for cars
I know somebody who was into marine camouflage. You have to be careful to choose the right shades depending on the location/time/date of the vessel you are trying to disguise. As he had lost one of his colour selection manuals he ordered the book "Fifty Shades of Grey". Boy, was he shocked at what he received!

On the Grey, this was the colour of my 900T, always liked it on the SAAB
My ACTIVA however seems to be a mix of reds that the French bodyshop had remaining on the shelf
