Just loaded Diagbox onto my laptop and when I switched on the message "The Psa SingleSignOn BHO add-on from an unknown publisher is ready for use.. enable/don't enable."

What's the answer?

This is the PSA server Log-in integration that is asking to link your PC log-in to PSA server log-in which you don't have.

That's why I asked, I thought it might be their way of killing off the clones.

I loaded it up to 7.62, thought that was enough for what I need at the moment.

V7.58 goes up to Nov 2014 - more than adequate for a MK II Eric. You may find issues now because of a later firmware automatically installed than you need. But see how it fares....

Here I am again

so I uninstalled it all and re-installed it up to 7.57, all seems to have gone ok, I connect to the car and it goes as far as asking for the vin and the rpo then pops up the choices Lexia or scan tool, clicking on either just makes them flash on and off.

Having a wander around the various buttons, one at the top says "user not authenticated."

Where have I gone wrong?

It's on Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

Ignore that - I think it says this from a previous dialogue box where it may of asked you to authenticate yourself - (it can do this when accessing some functions) which, when you then press the red cross to cancel, leads to the message at the top.

Are you aware that when reinstalling it you can't just install over the top of an existing installation? The old installation must be thoroughly cleaned as well as the registry before starting from scratch - if you don't do this it will effectively still record details of the old installation.

If you want a hand to install this from scratch, let me know and I can always dial in and install it remotely for you and check your registry.
