Unfortunately the paint codes for this age of vehicle are not listed under the VIN - they had the code stamped on the bodywork.

But the VIN comes back as 'Green', so looking at 405 'Greens' for the year, I see there are 2 listed:
405 B.PNG
or
405 A.PNG

Ok, I'm guessing it's the VERT REFLEX MET. from that choice. Thanks for your help

the code on these should be near the top of the NS front Suspension tower, three letters I think (no need to take the plastic cover off the top)

....sometimes its there, sometimes its not.

Nice selection on the Driveway there

That isn't my driveway I'm afraid, my 405 looks much more sheddy. As I said, that picture is off the autoshite fourm. You're absolutely right though, that bloke who does own the cars pictured has excellent taste

let me know if it ever becomes such a Shed that its days are over. Ssome spares are getting hard to come by and am sure we could come to an arrangement.

Mines off the road at the moment and I’m hoping to fix it up a bit. I’m afraid I have no plans to sell it currently though, there’s life in the old girl yet!

I appreciate spares are starting to get thin on the ground but occasionally ideal donor cars spring up on eBay or gumtree, so make sure you’re looking on there frequently too
