Didgibox help!

Unread post by dowen »

I have a dpf low, Warning on my c6 2.7 07. So I put in 1ltr Elloys, and I'm trying to reset!
Can anyone talk me through didgibox? This is not my area of expertise, and I'm about to fall on my sword!
I've spent some hours on it and Im getting a bit frustrated!
Does it effect diagnostic when ignition times out?

Pop your VIN up first, so I can see which system you have. Depending on system you may have Injection controlled additive sysem or a separate ECU.

Ok, as I thought - you have the Siemens SID 201 injection system. So the Engine Management System controls the injection process, there is no separate additive ECU.

So run a Global test, on completion, select the Siemens 201 Injection ECU from the list of detected ECUs. it should be near the top and the identifying icon on the left will be an injector.

Select this option and confirm
This will take you to a load of menus - now these will differ between Diagbox releases - but you are looking for either maintenance, Repair or Pack Repair.

In one of these you will see operations relating tot he DPF and the additive maintenance.

You are looking for Reset Additive Level or similar. The instructions should be guided, and assuming you topped the tank up, reset it to 0. They recommend using 3 Lt kits to refill it as there is 3.5 Lt filled at the factory on this engine so a 3 Lt kit should be used.
