Not quite Steve

The easy bit of skulduggery with images is the google image search.

Just put in the URL of the image and out pops the trail to your answer

But - but - but surely that's cheating?

I would never do such a thing!

The number of people in the world who could take one look at that image of the Cat, and know what it was, is very very small.

For the Pickled Egg Quiz it is reasonably appropriate being drink related...

Here it is all done for you! The story is there down the page

Just to tie the loose ends of the quiz up.

and no doubt the reason why some gins have names relating back oddly to the Tom Cat

Bought one of my girls a bottle of posh gin today but no Tom Cat visible, will have to keep a look out for it.

It's a while back now but I was in an off-licence in Gosforth and they had bottles of wine on offer,
Cat Pee On A Gooseberry Bush was the name.

Pickled Egg Twixmas Music Quiz

Post by NewcastleFalcon »

NewcastleFalcon wrote: 29 Dec 2017, 19:06 With the Pickled Egg jukebox having a life of its own, heres a thread that can be a receptacle for that other great bastion of entertainment....the Quiz.
Well not really a picked egg original, but an excellent quiz this afternoon on radio 2 with David Hepworth the music journalist.......

Would recommend a listen. Asks 3 Questions, plays a record, gives answers....repeat.
As well as being interesting and informative, the music chosen wasn't bad too.

Johnnie Walker-Twixmas Quiz with David Hepworth

An example from the questions,
In 1977, NASA launched two spacecraft - Voyager 1 and 2 - to explore Jupiter, Saturn and beyond. Each carried a 12-inch gold plated record that contained music, sounds and images picked to represent the great diversity of life on Earth. Which popular music recording was included?

(answer over at the Pickled Egg jukebox and a thumbs up from me :-D )

One present I bought for my Mum was a Christmas present was from B&M, and it is going down well. Each gin is different (the tonic is the same for them all). It cost me less than shown here;

I think you would be waiting for at least 100 years before anyone genuinely following your restriction would come up with the answer. :-D

I of course haven't but is the answer you are looking for

Its xxxxxx xxxxx and her daughter is xxxxx xxxxxxxx
or
Its xxxxx xxxxxxxx's mother, xxxxxx xxxxx.

I think the daughter is more world famous than the mother :-D

Yep.
I thought I saw her on another Swedish vlog. Turned out not to be her but had a listen anyway.
Seems to be a very amusing and talented woman.

Here is a car advert location poser, in the tradition of the dam in spain on the Citroen "long way home advert".
Now that took some solving, except when our Mick the Maverick came on the scene and got it with his duck duck going!

So two items from this Superbowl advert from Porsche. No holds barred....if you know it off the top of your head great, but the dark arts are allowed..... have a go and dont give up! I know the answer to the bridge but not as yet the dam.

So the full video

Now the questions

Where is the Dam?
Which Dam is this?
Which Dam is this?
Where is the Bridge?
Which Bridge is this?
Which Bridge is this?
