Random rewards the fuel of addiction. Who would have guessed when the FCF was turned on this morning, Michael Rodd would be making his debut! So how did it come about....

I read James ( Hell Razors) post this morning on Sussex University's Electric Battery developments and the name at the end of the article......Anna Ford. Yes name association for me took me to..the Anna Ford who I first came across on "Tomorrows World" although apparently she did a bit of "Man Alive" before that. Got to be some footage on the net of Anna in action on TW...maybe.....but Michael Rodd was the first hit on Daily motion....

Company I worked for had one of their products on Tomorrow's World, a Flow Probe that used the doppler effect to detect blood flow in burned skin to determine which was live and which (dead) to remove ready for grafts to take place.

I was tasked to devise an induction charger to charge it as it had to be waterproof for cleaning.

Never got to meet Anna Ford :(
