207 GTI problems (need serious help before I hit it with a hammer)

I thought a 2007 207 GTI with with the timing chain snapped(so I never seen it running), it's got 62k on the clock, iv done head gasket and timing chain and all the other required parts, the engine starts but got no boost! If like i was driving a 1 liter(only took it down the road and back) iv just had enough tbh! Someone help me please

Can you post your VIN so that we can see exactly which variety you have?
Do you have access to a Daigbox diagnostics unit (or any other means of reading fault codes)?
