Mystery Pipe
When I removed the lower engine cover on my C5 Mk1 hatchback earlier, the pipe in the picture dropped down on the floor near the nearside front wheel. I imagine it is a scuttle or panel drain pipe of some sort but I thought I'd see if anyone recognises it to save me hunting!! The tape is a standard 6" roll of masking tape to give some scale. Any ideas?

Picture? Nothing showing for me!

I'll take a pure guess at the Air Conditioning water drain pipe until you get the picture up.

Re: Mystery Pipe
Definitely looks like the A/C water drain pipe to me - seems the right diameter too. Can you see if there has / is water still inside, mind you with these temperatures, I suppose that's pushing it!

Re: Mystery Pipe
Given that the clutch was seized and I installed a new condensor last week I would have been surprised if it had, but it hadn't!! However that points me in the likely direction. You are on form today!!
