The value and weight of any 'opinion' (especially when descending into mockery as a way out and distraction) is inversely proportional to the amount of evidence ignored.
And a little bearded man sitting in a cave, commanding 19 hijackers through top airport security to take over four Boeing 767s thousands of miles away by Sat phone while wired up to a kidney dialysis machine having just finished another interview with Peter Arnett for CNN having evaded all US search parties for year.... THAT is a conspiracy theory.
There's none so blind...

Everyone is entitled to their opinion that doesn't mean they are correct. Some are harmless like believing the moon landings were faked others are more dangerous like a belief that your skin colour determines your character or that proven technology like vaccines are killing people. Some people are of course mad like a guy I worked with years ago that thought Jews were exclusively black and male. No matter how often it was pointed out that men cant reproduce he still believed this nonsense last I heard of him.
I am starting to think there are quite a few devils advocates on this site too

Can't have gone to the moon. If we look in the sky, the moon is clearly about as big as a 10p piece so there's no way man could have landed on it. It's also round, and in all the pics taken on the moon it's flat. Clearly a hoax.

Ok. If one were to look through the BFO telescope on earth, it's possible to *see* the remains of some of the lunar landers..
I'm not sure how you explain that away.

They've been planted there to make it look like the moon was visited.

Were they flown there? That's proof of concept at least!

Ask Alan Davies what Patrick Moore said to him when he asked that very question! Patrick Moore was somewhat irritated by it!
It is impossible to keep a secret of that magnitude with thousands of people involved. The Soviet Union was also in 'The Space Race', and if the USA had tried to pull a fast one you can be certain that CCCP would have shouted about it so loudly it would have echoed off the Moon!

The Americans bribed the Russians to keep quiet about it.

There isn't enough money in the Solar System that would stop the CCCP from shouting about it if the USA really DID try to pull such a con! With the Soviet Union face was incredibly important, which is why (in the 'Space Race') they were so keen to beat the USA in so many things (first satellite in space, first animal in space, first man and first woman in space). If the USA DID try to say they had landed on the Moon when they had not, CCCP would have screamed the house down, and then nobody would believe the USA in anything (even if they said the Sun would rise after night and then set again several hours later).

Re: Manned Moon Landings - Did They Go? - Of Course They Did/n't
There you are James - you see as far as the controllers are concerned - they were in a big room just reading stuff off their console - it's possible they knew nothing about it. Sure the rocket launched, but they hung about in low earth orbit until it was time to land. On one of the videos I linked to - you can see they got caught out putting a picture of the Earth inside the window to make it look like they were further away than they were - From 34:10 they explain the chicanery...
