I have a 61 Plate Kangoo with an in gear whine / noise
All gears / all speeds
Noise stops when the the clutch is pressed to the floor
Any hints tips as what the cause is ?
I'm assuming gear box or clutch & its unlikley to be drive shaft or something inexpensive...
It's done 150k, both rear 1/4's are damaged, theres a BFO crack across the screen & the MOT runs out in end of June,
Before it goes, how does the body coloured solid "grill" between bonnet & bumper come off ?

Change the gearbox oil, it may be low?
You would be surprised how long a gearbox will last with a whine - maybe another 100k

unclip the top by hand,
unclip onside of the bottom with a flat screw driver & prises off,
takes about a min to remove & refit.
