Mother got a brand new bag!

Unread post by rossnunn »

Well car acutally, another Xant. 2.0 16v Exclusive Estate, fully kitted out with leather, electric everything, traffic master, wood(plastic), cruise control, factory CD Changer, etc etc the list just goes on & on. Its got hi milage at just over 120K but she's fully stamped up & they look to be motorway miles. There are a few odd things tho....
Firstly on, such a high-spec model it doesn't have mud flaps, can you get moulded ones like on some ZX's?
Second, no electric headlight adjusters, I assume this is because the suspension auto-levels?
& Thrid, can you get boot spoilers for the estates? I think it needs a little something back there.
Cheers

Mudflaps were always an accessory fitment, the moulded ones you mention are called 'Contour'.
You are correct about the headlight adjusters in that they are unnecessary with self-leveling suspension.
As far as I'm aware, no boot spoilers are available specifically for the estate model.

That's one fine looking Xantia. The wife has decided that we now need a family car as she's expecting. Problem is no matter how many Xantias I've shown her she aint having it [:(]. Looks like it's going to be a Japanees thingy in the garage in the near furture [:(]. Oh well still got the VTR at the moment, MOT next week, and I'll have the Renault Megane Soft top to play with [:D]
