Yes, looks like they need a replacement engine every 300,000 miles, and the best brains of Citroen can’t even fix the radio.

wears its miles well doesn't it.

Curious how the price relates to an average mileage example (say 140k). Kinda thinking perhaps its a third to half the price so about 4.5 - 6grand

Anyone remember the post by Steve from East Coast Taxis (South Shields) who retired one of his C5 fleet at 440,000 miles, original engine (2,0 HDi) as the interior was becoming a bit 'tired' but everything functioned properly?

Makes my 230,000+ look pathetic.

Steve used to be my fellow-moderator on 'another Citroen forum'. Some of his cars had phenomenal mileages on them. He would buy any sickly C5 - providing its appearance was good. His last plan was to buy cheap 1.6 C5s with turbo inflicted engine damage and transplant an 8-valve HDI into them ----- but DVLA and the VED regime scuppered that plan.
