Morning all, just wondering if anyone knows the limits of the am6 gearbox used in C5's and 407's? Reason I ask is I've been researching the Jaguar variants of the v6hdi, and some of them were 302bhp/516lbft vs our 241bhp/332lbft; so... a certain Scottish eccentric evil engineer is thinking to himself on making his c5 x7 tourer up to 300bhp. Then I thought I wonder if our version of the "Lion v6" was "detuned" to accomidate our gearbox?
I know from experience with first gen TD4 freelanders that the rover version of the BMW m47 engine was detuned to compensate for our vehicles rather puny gearboxes, hence me asking about our version of the v6 diesel and its gearbox's limitations.

These are different depending on engine type - the boxes have different part numbers and markings accordingly.
