Glow Plugs

Hi Guy's
Does my 2011 1.6 e-hdi C5 X7 have glow plugs for the engine as in the deep winter the engine starts in seconds .
There are so many roads to travel but so little time, (Paul Cofield )

If it’s an HDi then yes, but they aren’t used as much as traditional diesels. They are only used to help get engine to temp, for regeneration and in colder conditions if needed. The high pressure common rail makes starting a lot easier.
