Hi were at a wedding car had no problems when we tried to start the car and it wont turn over am i right in thinking its the starter motor we managed to bump start it but tried to start after running it for a while any advice would be helpful

Sorry, but that sounds a bit contradictory - "had no problems when we tried to start the car" & "tried to start after running it for a while"?

Is it starting or not? Perhaps you're having a really good time at the wedding reception - so suggest you check back tomorrow after the hangover!

It only starts when bump start not with turn of key sorry for confusion

Check for a blown 20A fuse on the under bonnet fuse box. It's a bit under rated, but blowing it is the first sign the starter is on borrowed time. Is it a 1.6 diesel? Starter change is 'fun' on these!!
