So although you have the double air doser, the left hand plug is purposefully disconnected (the wiring plug will be hidden) and there should be no vacuum pipe attached either. So DO NOT connect this up, as it is designed to be left off!

I share your information with the mechanic.
Thank you very much for your labor.would you mind if I use my car.
Is it so difficult to make a fault detection?why are they so ignorant.
I think they never research

All this seems to be pointing to the vacuum circuit. A mechanic should be able to check the vacuum circuit or the solenoid valves to see if they are operating properly. Start with the easier things like checks.

If you don't have an experienced mechanic who knows PSA cars, and you don't do your own mechanics, then it might pay to take it to the authorised service centre who are trained on the cars and should be able to run the checks for you. They will do a diagnostic to confirm these codes and do the checks for you. But they should give you an estimate before they complete the work.

You have the AM6 Auto box. You cannot change all the oil in one go - the capacity is 7 litres and you can only remove 3 litres at one time! So you may need to do several oil changes over a few months to get most of it replaced.

The official guidance for changing the Oil is here:

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=58731&hilit=Refit+t ... 15#p553039

Note: You will need to reset the oil counter in the ECU as part of this operation. You will need Diagbox or a compatible tool to do this.

EDC5 has done a guide to changing here:

GiveMeABreak wrote: 21 Mar 2019, 20:04 The U1218 fault can relate to an intersystems CAN fault in relation to the STOP Start system if you have this fitted.

First post your VIN up here so I can identify your vehicle.
Hi Marc,
Hopefully you can help me. I have U1218 fault in my car (Peugeot 3008, 1.6 hdi) and the fault shows up on my dashboard when Stop/Stard deactivates. It all happens automatically. Even I press Eco button it doesn't do anything.
Do you have any suggestions what could be the reason? I think the fault is related to car's Start/Stop system. I just don't understand what could be the reason.

The battery seems to be OK.

Thanks

Dinu
