My attention was drawn to "5lt £8.5!!" - but this stuff's £22 for 5lts. & last I saw any, the going price for Granville oils is around £15 - although that might equate to £22 including p&p. So I suppose it depends on, what price convenience?

I have been using 'Mannol' oil, 20 litres for about 35 pounds (sorry pounds sign wont work). Tried to put a link on to Ebay but it wont work, look it up. Semi synthetic and spec good for non DPF Hdi engines and the Merc.

non DPF can be found cheaper in other sites. Low SAPS C2 is usually £20/5L so £8.5 was a steal.

Think I'll stick to https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Total-Quartz ... 2749.l2649 at under £26 including postage for the Citroen recommended oil. I've been using this seller for a couple of years and I do an oil change every 6 month.

Considering it's on display at my local dealers for over £54, I too thought £20-odd on ebay was a great deal and have been a stout advocate of it for years - until someone pointed out it's not fully synthetic as I originally thought.

Although it does claim "Synthetic Technology" on the label, I've since learnt that's refering to the additives, not the base oil.
More fool me, I guess.

I've got one can in stock and will be putting that in the X7 on Monday when it gets it's cambelt service but only as a short-range flushing oil. After that I'm going to trial this Granville offering. Admittedly, I don't know what grade of Fully Synthetic it is but as noted, it's got all the right credentials.

I've also noticed some suppliers (but not all) are now referring to ACEA C2 as "mid-ash" not "low-ash", since the formulation of the even lower saps content ACEA C1 (specified for BlueHDI's).

This must have been the cheapest service ever (oil, oil/diesel/air/cabin filters) for £35. Definitely worth the initial investment in necessary tools as it just takes an hour to do and is so relaxing ;)

You must have the only car that replacing the cabin filter actually gets done - because it doesn't involve about 3 days workshop time removing much of the interior.
