i remember years ago one of my mates had a transit van with a mattress in the back as a er bachelor pad....... in case anyone is thinking of trying this it didnt work too well (the only time he persuaded a girl back to it (and i use girl in the er loose sort of way) we gave him ten minutes then all tried to rock the van over....this seemed to put him of his er stroke

Ah, the Mehari. They fetch around the £3500 mark in top nick so the price doesn't seem to bad. Plastic (ABS) bodywork and a lovely rust-attracting metal spaceframe. I'd love one! Did you know the French Military were into them in a big way? Then there was the RAF with their 2cv pick-ups....
