Wing mirror c3 picasso

I have a Citroen C3 Picasso 2009 (2009-2016 varient) 1.6 HDI.

The passenger wing mirror the casing has come off. The glass, electrics are all OK so I just need replacement casing.

Citroen sent me a part that clips on. But this not the right size even though they took my reg down.

I have attached pictures showing the damaged wing, the drivers wing and what Citroen sent me.

I want to know exactly what I should be asking for without having to go to the whole process if buying a new unit and wiring it in.

Can anyone help?

There are 3 variants.... post up your VIN and we can see which is fitted. Do you know what part number was supplied?

Your problem is that the cover itself is the part shown on your last photo (number 2 on the diagram - the painted part) not the housing. From your other pictures, it looks like it is the housing that is missing, not just the cover - so you need the whole mirror. There are no other parts sold for this.

The complete passenger mirror for your car new is priced at £143.42 inc. VAT - unpainted

Part number is:

8153XQ (Left hand side)

Mirrors are supplied primed but not painted and are the same price for each. If looking for a second hand one, then search on this part number.

Well a wing mirror for my C5 is £1000, so cheap by comparison. Use the part number I gave you to look for a second hand one:

There's an original Citroen one here from Germany for 67.74 + £16 shipping - still less than half the price of the dealer....

Beware some 'pattern' parts that are around the £50 mark - they are not original parts - they may be fine, but no guarantees.
