That looks like a Vert Amandier Metallic ERH (Onyx) to me...

or, Gris Gabion ERZ (Silver Moss) depending on the light.

..and in dull, out of date news in 2018 the UK in general plumped for grey as their number 1 choice when buying a new car. It wouldnt have been acceptable in the 1970's although Tom Robinson did wish he had a grey cortina, whiplash aerial, racing trim.....

Just seen a lime-green Scirocco with black roof and other bits, enhanced with copper flashes and huge copper coloured wheels.
No camera at the time, unfortunately as words cannot describe it's puke-making ugliness.

Favourite colours for cars

Unread post by NewcastleFalcon »

I turned down a photo opportunity today of quite a striking coloured car in a supermarket carpark, parked well away from others......Now who would have the confidence to go into a showroom and order one of these.....
Spoiler: show
On the bright side it was a coupe....it could have been an SUV and the ultimate in bad taste :-D

You are about 25 miles out Gibbo :-D (in a North Westerley Direction) from the home of the Spitfire

I like the Morris Oxford, I had several of those including the wooden estates.
