One of my dipped beam (H7) bulbs blew the other day and when I came to replace it I noticed that the shield surrounding the bulb was off centre . It wasn't the bulb at fault as the replacement was the same, And the headlamp on the other side was similarly afflicted, albeit squinting the other way.
Is this correct or have the shields become bent at some time? Photos will hopefully make this clearer,

It's very easy to bend the shields out of alignment when installing new lamps - and this is what's happened to yours. You should just about be able to get a finger into the back of the headlamp to bend the shields back into a more centred position.

I noticed the same last time I put bulbs in. I just bent them back.

I thought it wasn't right but had to check with others. It might have to wait a while as I caught my thumb in the car door on Thursday and it's like being plugged into the mains if I touch it accidentally.
