V6 changes

Does anyone know what changes were made to the V6 3 litre engine to increase its power output from 194HP in 1998 to 210HP in 2000?

Possibly (in part?) due to the variable valve timing introduced?

Thank you Paradox, for the info.. So the extra power is only really of use to people who keep it above 5000RPM?

Also due to improved induction and exhaust manifolds. The VVT should mean much improved power at low engine speed without sacrificing power at high rpms
