Whatsthisthen?..new one to try

Post by NewcastleFalcon »

Back to the UK for this one and I'll give you a bit of a multiple choice question.

This is a superb French site for anyone with an interest in cars....all in French, but should you need to translate no doubt there are "translate this page" options.
Entitled "A nous les petites anglaises" The summary page shows some of the range of small British Car makers each with a story and pictures. I had a delve into the Clan Crusader so its not that.

Suffice to say the answer to the whatsthisthen is on this page.

...but not to make it totally unchallenging, you may have to view the makers page to come up with the right model :-D

So heres the pic and the question whatsthisthen?

How on earth did you get round to the "T"'s so quickly. You didn't do a google image search did you? (er nothing wrong with that fair skulduggery in my book!)

You are definitely on the right page, will have to go back and check!

Yes Bobins, Hertfordshires finest. The detail on all those "small" carmakers is excellent. Where have all the coachbuilders gone.....?

Here's a whats this then of standard difficulty.

Quite hard from the pure car point of view....the windows are distinctive, but the usual view is from the outside.
Wonder if anyone has driven one/owned one/desired one?

However, if you know your Antiques roadtrip its a process of elimination, and if you know your antiques roadtrip "experts" then you are half way there.

...and you have a 152/1 chance because the car is on this H&H Auction list from July 2018 for their sale at the Pavillion Gardens Buxton.
