So I've just bought this DS4 and it seems to have a rather odd exhaust pipe... Is this some sort of upgrade? I've looked online at others for sale and can't find any with a visible exhaust pipe.
The car is a 1.6 HDI 110.
Thanks for any help
Rob

Re: DS4 What exhaust is this?
Welcome!
It's presumably an aftermarket one, as all the standard ones look to be downturned, and probably behind the bumper.

Thanks Richard, I was wondering if it was some sort of factory option? If it is aftermarket I might remove it.
Re: DS4 What exhaust is this?
Lol. Leave it long enough and a speed bump might do it for you.
That looks ridiculously low.
Was the previous owner inclined to wear nylon shell suits and baseball caps with the peak at the back, by any chance?

Re: DS4 What exhaust is this?
Ok thanks Sparksie! The car is low mileage and like new, which I have just bought from a decent dealer.. The car has not been lowered at all running standard ride height, with the big mini suv size gaps on the wheel arches. Could just be the angle of that picture.
I came here for advice, not to be lol at.

Re: DS4 What exhaust is this?
Ok, sorry.
Was not lol-ing AT you. Rather thought I was WITH you, but hey-ho.
Pretty sure the standard exhaust should be hidden behind the bumper, with a down turn at the end to deflect gasses downwards, away from the plastic. If I'm right, the exhaust you currently have is hanging BELOW the bumper and is therefore significantly lower than it should be, which was what I was referring to.
I certainly was not trying to ruffle your feathers and I'm sorry you took it up that way
