Take a look at Mister Auto (owned by PSA) - good choice of makes, with dimensions listed for each one.
Nissens brand has a very good reputation.

Re: Citroen Xantia 1.9 Turbo Diesel 1996
Buy a Valeo ("Classic" version if I remember correctly) water radiator for 1.9 TD (XUD9TE). It lacks the water "dripper" at the bottom, but the fins and pipes are large enough to cool the engine like the stock radiator. Don't buy something like Nissen, NRF or the like. I was told the manufacturer of OEM 1.9TD radiators was Ordonez. There's one for sale here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-306- ... 3513432878
(Edit: I saw that this one is for Xsara. Browse around for Ordonez or Valeo for Xantia 1.9TD)
30 pounds is a steal. I paid for mine something like 140 pounds two years ago.

Re: Citroen Xantia 1.9 Turbo Diesel 1996
Pop up your VIN and someone can look up the Citroen part number. Be aware that some Xantias had radiators with bayonet hose fittings. If you have one of those, it is often best to cut the pipe with fitting carefully off the radiator, then carefully remove the stub from inside the hoes without damaging the hose fitting, as the hoses can be difficult to remove and are unobtainable now.
I got a good quality Xantia radiator from https://www.carcooling.co.uk/index.php? ... antia&pg=1 a few years ago, but when you have the part number there should be several suppliers to choose from.

Mister Auto lists the original part numbers for each rad as well, so Mike's suggestion of your VIN will help.

Hi Kevin,
From Citroen Parts with that VIN...
Xantia 5dr 1.9TD
Original radiator, new (no longer available) was pt.no. 1301FY
Listed replacement (available) is pt.no. 1331HW
You should be able to use those part numbers when checking other suppliers for equivalents.

Hi Chris,
Thanks very much for all your help, I shall check around. Failing that I could try to get the old radiator reconditioned.
Thanks

Re: Citroen Xantia 1.9 Turbo Diesel 1996
Hi Kevin
1301FY and 1331HW both recognised as Xantia radiators for your car, so should be ok if that radiator above is equivalent.
1301HW and 96144046 are not currently recognised as Citroen numbers, for any model.
This is the choice of rads for your car (which has AC) from Mister Auto - various makes offered, all with description, sizes and dimensions. Worth checking the size of the one already on the car.

Try CES if you have one nearby, managed to source one for me. Funnily enough mines non AC and had the same part number.

Looks like the same rad was fitted to both AC and non-AC models, in this case.

Re: Citroen Xantia 1.9 Turbo Diesel 1996
Hi,
Every radiator I've looked at keep coming up with the same OEM numbers 96144046 1301FY 1331.HW. I think the only thing I can do is strip it out tomorrow and see if I can find any corresponding numbers. I have measured the core, which seems to be 607mm by 400mm by 40mm, but havent measured inlet and outlet necks. Seems all the radiators I'm looking at are all 32mm in thickness. I can only assume thats the difference if they don't make mine one anymore. So maybe the one I've put up on here will fit, it's just the clips on top of the rad I'm worried about whether they will clip into place and the distance between pin locators at the bottom. Will take out and get an accurate measurement and maybe some numbers tomorrow.
Thanks everyone
Kevin
