I've done the vent tests and all seems to be working perfectly.
And what's more it does seem the screen vents are closing as asked.

And once again this morning, no condensation inside or in the damp traps.

I've got a creeping suspicion that despite offering manual controls, the ECU still nannies the system and that is what I experienced the other evening.

I wonder if the recent exercising of the flaps has perhaps reset them as I'm not feeling any flow out the screen vents anymore.
The damp traps are not collecting any condensation at all either despite there being some pretty damp evenings/mornings this week.

Replacing the cabin filter was easier and quicker second time round. The old filter was blackened but it was fitted before I found and fixed the EGR leak. No sign of it ever being sodden and the blower fan now sounds a little bit quieter at higher settings.
