Thanks for the info. 23k miles to the "normal" driving conditions interval but maybe I'll change it anyway.
While I'm on the subject, what are the recommendations about service intervals for changing the oil in the auto-adaptive gearbox? Also is this gearbox generally reliable?

I don't know much about the V6 diesel, except that it is also used in the latest Land Rover Discovery 3. I've driven the Discovery 3 that was driven by one of them, it was very smooth, and doing only 1900 revs @ 70mph. Not sure what it'll be like in the C6. The Peugeot 607 also has it on the french site, but not in the UK yet.
