Good afternoon,
My aux cable has finally arrived for my RD4, when removing the stereo there is still an input slot available on the rear- which got me wondering whether you can get a cable to plug into an iPhone (or even my old iPod classic) so that I can control tracks from the steering stalk?
Or is it a case of the radio is too old and too limited? I am wary of replacing the radio as it controls the functions on the small screen on the centre console.

No, it's not for that - there is no control for this - except for the RD4 models that support the AD2P Bluetooth streaming.

Thank you, had a quick look online and I can't seem to find a Bluetooth one. I guess people aren't replacing them.

Re: RD4 and iPhone
You can replace your RD4 with a RD45 that has Bluetooth for handsfree and music streaming. You will also require a new MFD or at the very least your current one reconfiguring.
