Hi I have a Citroen C2 2006 1.4 petrol, I have a fault code P1676 controlled alternator control, Does anyone know anything about this code please.

Hi I had o2 sensor faults, all fixed now, but this P1676 code will not go, Alternator is charging, 14.4 volts engine running, not noticed any problems. obd direct does not show any faults, just when I code read with my Snap on verus.

Ok, so the OP has the C2 1.4i 75 (TU3A) with manual 5 speed gearbox.
This was built Jan 2006 and there is little available info from PSA directly concerning this fault - so it may be a little early - the only thing is non-specific "Piloted alternator control fault" without any further detail.
If it's working and charging, I would leave it until you have cause for further investigation.

Hi Marc, Thanks for the info, I have definitely seen this code before on a C3. Not sure if I ever cleared it, I think I did a BCM reset last time and let me delete it. I have tried it on this C2 but it comes strait back.
