2011 relay satellite message

hi , have just got a 2011 relay enterprise van and i keep getting the message over the speakers - SATELLITES ARE IN VIEW- any idea how i stop this please...

Wow, that's quite an ominous message to see on your screen! I'm afraid I don't know what could be causing it, does your van have a GPS system then?

Pop your VIN up so I can see what system you have - normally with Sat Nav systems it is usually the opposite message - 'No satellites Visible'.

Hi the vin no is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. it's had one of those teletrack systems fitted which i have removed

Ok, although not factory fitted, and therefore no indication of any Teletrac unit on your specs, it would seem that you may have had the Teletrac Navman system fitted at some point (or the previous owner did). It was fitted on fleet vehicles and by all accounts is a heap of hooey - when looking into this it is made by formerly Trafficmaster, so say no more.

I can only assume that removing the interface is insufficient and that there is significant wiring into the vehicle systems, so I suspect that there may be interference from the antenna unit or something else.

I don't know which model you have, but I have tracked down an installation guide for the TM470 unit - so looking at this may help you to reverse engineer it in order to fully remove it.

It would seem that they have been fitingt these to LCVS, including the Berlingo and Relay & Dispatch panel vans.
