Berlingo 2 Dianostics

My nieghbour asked if I could run a diagnostic sweep on his Berlingo 2 (56 plate) as he had the "anti-Pollution" warning message pop up for a few days.

I connected my Diagbox (7.76) to his car, it read its VIN number no problems, then on the next screen I had a choice of 'LEXIA' or 'SCANTOOL'. t

• If I select 'LEXIA' it then asks for the RPO number and after entering the RPO number and clicking on the 'Tick' it went straight back to the earlier screen where I had the two options of 'LEXIA' or 'SCANTOOL'.

• If I slelected 'SCANTOOL' nothing happened

Any suggestion to what I am doing wrong, or is his car just tool old?

I think your firmware and Diagbox version may be too high Stu. I have mine on 7.62, because any higher starts to lose telecoding functions on some models. I would downgrade to 7.58 which still covers vehicles to November 2014, so will more than cover both your X7 and the Blingo.

No, no need for that Stu, just apply the appropriate 7.58 update and it will do the rest. Updates and downgrades can be done that simply.

If you need the appropriate update version let me know.
