Citroen c8 coolant leak.

Hi guys, does anyone have any idea what the part is called that the expansion tank joins to at the back of the engine, its a plastic elbow/flange attached to the engine block by 2 bolts.
Car is a c8 2.2 hdi 53 plate.
Mine has given up and has split just above the bottom bolt .

Do you have your VIN handy as there are 2 variants with the 2.2 and again with transmission type etc....

It looks suspiciously like the Engine Water Intake Tank to me - Part 3 on the diagram - but would need to confirm once I get your VIN.

I would prefer as the parts are all different for the engines and the different cooling systems. Send me a PM if you don't want to post it here - I mask the VINs any way as soon as it arrives. I can get you the part number then and a price.

Ok, so confirmed you have the DW12TED4 engine and the part was correct:-

Water Intake Tank - Part No: 1336R0 (digit 0 not letter O) priced at: £ £29.03 inc. VAT You'll also need the Coolant Manifold Gasket - Item 4 on the diagram) Part No: 133983. Priced at: £2.53 inc. VAT

Both these are still available from Citroen.
