And the same goes for petrol........... I think! Way back in the dim & distant past when I joined the army, the workshops had bowls of petrol in which to wash the grease off our hands. We used the petrol around four times each day, wiped clean with a handful of cotton waste, then washed in water with a liberal sprinkle of Vim. Rightly or wrongly I blame that on my present condition of having to have melanomas cut out and skin grafts put in. Right now I'm nursing procedure number six, but the graft has failed and it's taking a lot of treatment to heal. If you have a strong stomach here's what it's like three weeks post op.
