My Sat nav shows me miles away from where i am. It also gives no altitude reading and no bluetooth connection. Ive rebooted but still the same.
Any ideas please

my Sat-Nav appeared to be completely dead a couple of years back.
I googled how to get into the settings etc, connected it up to the PC via a USB cable with the intention of 'having a go' but did nothing more with it. Its worked fine ever since (apart from when it it sends me the wrong way / fails to find a Petrol Station, or on one occasion Antwerp!)
Give it a try.
PS: why do you need Bluetooth and Altitude on your Sat-Nav?

As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

It sounds like the same fault as in the thread I linked to. Commiserations.
It might be cheaper to get a dedicated Satnav. I think some can do Bluetooth as well.
