I will state there was no rear end damage when I sold it. I do see on the photos a mark on the back bumper now. Perhaps this could have caused the damage underneath too, I don't know. I would not touch the boost valve, you will see in on the drivers side under the scuttle beside the sphere. It made the car so much better to drive than a standard one. I would still say it's a good car, the suspension issues are probably caused by lack of use. And it's about the right price this time, I was tempted to bid £20 more with 30 seconds to go, but decided I have too many cars already lol

Thanks for the comments - Daviemck2006, the seller told me the cambelt was changed 4 years ago - seems about right, or should this be be done ASAP - no message back yet, but will play it by ear.

It was handwritten by Chris (citroenmad) who owned the car before me that the belt was done, and I have no reason to disbelieve this as it was in his blog that he did it. I would think the car has done less than 10,000 miles since it was done, possibly 3 to 4,000 miles since the clutch, front brakes and Citrojim also changed the oil and filters while he was at it. I got the welding done that it needed and it was a top class job, you will hardly see the bits that were done apart from the paint, which was done by the guy selling it, looks slightly a brighter shade.

I would ask him point blank why it is back on eBay when you are collecting tomorrow.

I have actually messaged him, he said this is in case another sale fall through and that the auction doesn't finish until Sunday, and since I am collecting tomorrow, all should be good...
