This goes in 2 places.

A product of "Morris Garages" you might think. That great British Marque. Really getting "with it" and producing its own SUV :-D Great.

Not really....also belongs in the China's Car Companies-What do you know? thread.

& you think that were it still under British control there wouldn't be an MG badged Ewok - or whatever?

If it's good enough for Alfa, Porsche, Jaguar, Bentley even, it's good enough for MG AND, my money's on them all selling pick-ups within the next 10 years!

That thing is revolting in the extreme... It looks all wrong and out of proportion somehow... Like it's morbidly obese...

It'll no doub't appeal to Chavs and inadequate posers ...

Lovely colour though... Very 70's Yamaha FS1E :)

There seems to be a current fashion for making cars look solid and heavy.

Maybe it's hard not to, when these tall ones are so popular, and people dont seem to care about using more fuel than something two thirds of the frontal area.

But even the small cars seem to have a milled-out-of-solid look to them.

Yes, that's true... I suppose it makes the great unwashed think they're high quality, well built, reliable and robust...

I just think it makes them look tubby - a bit like a sumo wrestler...

I like mine slim and trim...

If you can afford the price tag you probably don't need to worry about the fines.

Wasn't the Canyonero a car that featured in a Simpsons episode?

I believe it had a very messy ending

The Simpsons Canyonero made it to this thread here

This post has one of my favourite clips from the Simpsons re SUV's and what happens when they approach a gentle curve in the road :-D
