2 litre HDi 16v - poorly?
Evening all - need some advice! 2 litre HDi 16v 138bhp (2005) , down on power, wont rev above 3000 , smokes a little. Any ideas? Oh and no codes or faults logged

Check your turbo hose - and are you absolutely sure there is no MIL on the dashboard and no fault codes recorded?
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

Very strange for this to happen with no warning light or message. Has it been on Lexia? The 3000RPM is the LOS/limp home so would expect a code really.
As Marc says, worth checking the turbo hoses & perhaps try disconnecting the MAF plug (doubt it'd be this if it's a sudden failure but it can affect power).
