I got rid my C5 too much problem with suspension and airbag maybe I am unlucky. Now I got second new 306 estate 2001 HDI. I have fit cruise control stalk from my C5 and it already got clutch switch and wiring is direct fit which it mean I need software to active it. I am not really sure which version is for the 306? I have EML327 INTERFACE from my old Punto will this work with Lexia/planet 2000 or I need full Peugeot/Citroen kit with plugs? most of Lexia software that do sell on eBay only run on XP and Windows 7. My is 8.1 with 64bit any suggest which one is right software???? I am not very bright about computer I hope someone can point me which one.
The Peugeot Cruise Control system may well be somewhat different than that on a Citroen. The stalk has an extra option (that of "Limit"), and there may well need to be an extra switch on the accelerator pedal. I know that when we tried to configure CC on a Pug 206 (IIRC) we could not get it to go.
As the Lexia software is very old it runs in a 16bit environment. This cannot happen in a 64bit system unless you create a Virtual Machine with clean access to the USB systems. I cannot advise you on how to do this, as I have not had the joy of doing this myself. It is also likely that the EML327 interface will not give full information, as PSA cars (being French) are a law unto themselves and don't communicate in a standard fashion (however, Diagbox systems can handle them).
I have an Easy Diagnostics Lexia clone running on a Toshiba NB250 with 2GB RAM and windows 7 Starter (which is a 32b O/S). This, although slow by modern standards, does me perfectly well.
