Hello all.
Sad times over my way! This cold snap seems to have finished off the engine in my little C15 van. Urgh! But there is hope! I have a turbocharged engine from a 306td. The van has benefited from some 50mm lowering springs on the front courtesy of a 205, some 15inch steelies, brakes from a gti6 and some nice sticky toyo tyres all in preparation of the engine swap. Turns out mother nature is forcing my hand a little so now it’s time. Before I set about it does anyone have any advice at all of potential problems I might run into? Thicker driveshafts I guess? Clearance for the tmic? I haven’t figured out what is going to happen with the exhaust yet so again any advice appreciated.
Come on internet, deliver me the information I need!

Re: C15 turbo
205GTi driveshafts should do the trick, although I'd be looking to change the gearbox for one with more suitable ratios - or, at least, final drive.
I saw one at Citromobile with an air intake let into the bonnet where the intercooler would be, so - yes - it can be done.
As for the exhaust, my immediate thought was 306td downpipe, then a C15 cat replacement pipe modified to line up with the original tailbox - but, then, wouldn you really want to keep that ridiculous "trombone" arrangement?

Re: C15 turbo
No, it's a normal road tyre. I have used them on a few cars. I found them very good on a remapped Berlingo 2.0HDi
