What Car?
I know it's a tough call but what car would members recommend as a more up to date replacement for the Peugeot 206 1.9D LX 5 door hatch?

Re: What Car?
The starting point would be to determine what YOU need the car to do. I, for example, have a C5 estate which, most of the time, is too large for my needs, but has, on a few occasions, carried loads that would have defeated a smaller car.

There may be an occasion where the OP needs a loud, boisterous, rapid Yank V8 powered car too.
