I already have a motorcycle cover, but I've ordered the chain cleaner kit for the Yamaha and some cheap mats for the 107!

EDIT: poor English corrected for the pedants.

I could weave my own before anything from there arrived...

No, both the chain cleaner kit and the mats were ordered from the Aldi link James posted, with free delivery. Result.

van ordinaire wrote: 04 Feb 2018, 20:15 So, another post that was submitted, appeared on screen - & is no more! Really can't be bothered to replicate rambings on washer fluid (do I hear deep sighs of relief?) but just 2 points: I omitted "concentrate" from my original post (so that makes 75 litres down on the English Riviera!) AND, don't screen wash & milk come in the same plastic containers? (NO! I don't mean mixed)

I thought that van but there must be something in screenwash that the milk containers don't like, maybe it was a time thing, milk containers are very thin and I suppose not expected/required to last much longer than the use by date of the milk.

If they ARE the same plastic (polypropylene?) & they're just a different guage, isn't it just a matter of time before screenwashb disolves its own container? Curiosity's got the better of me now - I'll just have to examine the recycle symbols on the 2 containers.

Milk bottles and (my) screenwash bottle are both high density polyethylene (HDPE). Neither milk nor screenwash will dissolve HDPE so something else must have degraded the bottle in question.

A few small tools in Lidl today, a lot of gardening stuff but they have petrol pressure washers if anyone's interested.

Another abortive trip to Lidl's this evening: they're closing the tills earlier & earlier!

Strange that I never encounter any of these problems with the two Lidls that I use, and none with any of the four Aldis, depending on whereabouts I find myself when I need to do panic shopping :)

I was in Aldi last night and managed to not buy any tools at all, a first I believe.
Also forgot most of what I went for too though :(
