Xantia Driveshaft query Jon?

Just been attempting to purchase an intermediate driveshaft bearing for 1996 Xant TD VSX, sons of fue at local cit agents need chassis no??? Cannot find this part in Andyspares catalogue, do you carry it Jon?

If you can get it off you can probably get a bearing from an industrial bearing supply shop. I think the question is getting it off in the first place.

GSF N43890 is the correct bearing (if you can get the old one off!) Thats Citroen 324703.

Comes withOUT the lockring !

Thanks chaps, am i right in thinking that the lock ring goes on to the shaft from the diff end of the shaft after the bearing? in which case what is to stop me from removing the inner joint, cutting the old bearing off and installing the new bearing from the outboard end of the shaft, just a thought, I have removed lots of the shafts but never replaced this bearing.

How would you remove the inner joint ?
This is welded or crimped on the axle !
You would no doubt damage a few things down there trying that [;)]

The rotor on the ones I have oops looking at it from the wrong end, sorry folks, have flu, now delerious.......
